20 August 2013

Indiana MENTOR staff is proud to announce a new program for youth that will be operating through our office in Fort Wayne.

Beginning in September, youth ages 9 to 18 with developmental disabilities can take part in an exciting after-school program called “Kids Connection.”  We will combine learning activities and homework help with community and on-site recreation and socialization opportunities.  All of this will be done in a safe, structured, supervised environment.

The program will run Mondays through Fridays, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m., as well as on scheduled school breaks.  Any child who is on a Family Supports Waiver through the State of Indiana is eligible to participate.  Fort Wayne Community Schools will provide transportation for children attending schools in the Snider, North Side, and Northrop districts.

For more information, please call Samantha Kline or Amy Krewson at 260-485-5899, or email them at [email protected], [email protected].
